The O litter

Sire - Liemonchek Olaf

Dam - Liemonchek Merryg at Knytshall

Born - October 1981

Ockie - Wheaten Dog
It was not originally intended to keep Ockie as a home had been lined up for him (see Olaine below) but he ended up being the favoured son. . Ockie was definitately the favourite as far as Jaquie's mother was concerned and that affection has now been transfered to Brandy who she says reminds her of Ockie. . An impressive pale wheaten dog, he took a long time to mature, and didn't do any winning as a puppy, usually being 2nd to his brother. . Ockie was a tireless 'collector' for Hearing Dogs, in fact he won his 3rd CC to gain his champion's title on the same day that he collected £40 for the charity.
Like Merryg, Ockie used to accompany Jacquie to school, and it was one of his 'adventures' there that inspired Jacquie to write "The Adventures of Ockie", subtitled "The Trials and Tribulations of a Norwegian Buhund".

Orac - Wheaten Dog
Orac went to live with the owner of his sire. . Dad had died in a road accident and Orac went to replace him. . He was regularly shown in his early years and as a puppy was competition for Ockie. . Dad had managed to win two CCs before his tragic early death and Orac proved to be some compensation when he won the three CCs necessary to become a champion, and then one more for luck before he retired from the show ring. . Orac sired a few litters himself and one of his grandchildren was the sire of the T litter (the Herbs).

Olaine - Wheaten Bitch
Olaine was to be a show dog and the continuation of the Knytshall line. . A local family had booked a puppy and Ockie had been set aside for them, when they saw Olaine, however, they fell in love with her and said they wanted her instead. . After some thought she went to live with them on show terms and Ockie stayed with us instead. . Every weekend when there was a show, and some when there wasn't, Olaine came back to stay and she loved the attention of two families. . She was a great success in the show ring and won her first CC whilst she was still in Junior. . She went on to gain the her title as a champion before retiring for maternal duties with the I litter. . It had always been a struggle to keep her weight down so she became a loving pet, 'Poppy' to her family. . When she had first gone to live with the family there was a spate of burglaries and Olaine had been encouraged to bark. . That is fatal with a Buhund and when the man of the house started to work from home she became a liability. . A new home was found for her on a farm and she lived out her days happily there.

Ojim- Wheaten Dog
Ojim was sold to a pet home and nothing is known of his life.
